SENIOR GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER - DUBLIN
EMPLOYER
Our client is a leading UK Geotechnical and Environmental Consultancy
with operations in Ireland. They deliver leading edge services for a
wide range of clients including major contractors, structural
engineers, residential and commercial clients.
JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be expected to combine site work with design work and
investigation and project management in a dynamic office environment.
Competent in the planning, implementation and interpretation of site
investigations
Capable logging of soil and rock strata across all industry techniques
Good understanding of engineering geology and ability to undertake
geotechnical assessment of ground conditions and assign suitable
design parameters to soils
Understanding of geotechnical design solutions
Appreciation of the interaction of and assessment of contaminated land
aspects
Ability to work in collaboration with other engineering disciplines to
ensure the integrity of the overall design
Ability to communicate effectively with clients
Good project management skills and commercial awareness
A team player with a mature approach including first class
inter-personal skills
REQUIREMENTS
Relevant third level qualification in Geotechnical Science
An understanding of Irish geology and knowledge of Irish construction
practice
Project management experience
Excellent attention to detail
